This past Saturday we were in the mood for some cherry picking and decided to drive out to Hood River and drive their Fruit Loop to check out all the different farm stands around there. It was a gorgeous day and we got some great shots of Mt. Hood. There was this one cloud just chilling out at the mountaintop all day long.

My self-portrait skills need some work! I was trying to get the mountain behind us and failed miserably.
My video skills aren't that great either, but here you go... it was windy, and Mr. K makes a guest appearance :D

Some point later on down the road:
Stopped at Packer Orchards - they had lots of good food, pies, cookies, berry empanadas, ice cream, milkshakes, jams, jellies, etc., etc., etc.
The road to Mt. Hood... and its cloud:
Draper Girls Country Farm - this is where we wanted to pick cherries but we were turned off by the overprotective staff... if your farm is open to the public don't yell out accusingly at them when they walk around to check it out, and don't snap at the children who touch the antique scale you decided to put front and center. I was disappointed because I was really looking forward to this place, but maybe they were just having a bad day.
I didn't get pictures but we also stopped at the Apple Valley Country Store and had a slice of Blueberry Amaretto pie - so, so good!
Lavender Valley was my favorite place of all, and not just because of the lavender loo:
How would you like to live here? Yes, please!
Hello Gazebo!
I wish you could smell this, it was amazing!
They even do their own distilling and bottling onsite, and grow a few different varieties.
Yeah...
I could get used to looking at that every day!
Hey, Mr. K! We're starting a lavender farm, just thought you'd like to know.
